iQ Power Licensing AG: US Patent and Trademark Office grants iQPLAG important assembly patent

Zug (pta028/19.08.2015/20:35 UTC+2) Zug / Gwangju (South Korea), 19 August 2015 - iQ Power Licensing AG (ISIN: CH0268536338; WKN: A14M1C; Symbol: IQL), a developer and marketer of technologies for environmentally friendly and technologically innovative starter batteries for motor vehicles and licenses in these technologies, was granted another technology patent with broad protection by the US Patent and Trademark Office for the important North American market.

The patent was filed in January 2014. It complements and updates a patent from 2007 and deals with an important assembly patent which is relevant both for the iQ technology solutions IQP-1 as well as IQP-2. After changing to IQP-2 the patent blocks any unauthorized use of the iQ technology based on the predecessor solution IQP-1 by unauthorized third parties.

With this latest patent, iQ Power Licensing AG again underlines its technology leadership.
