London April 30th 2014 (pta036/30.04.2014/13:39 UTC+2) Universal is very pleased to announce that its investee company Connect IB has won a global pitch out of numerous vendors for a new application for Glaxo Smith Kline worldwide estate and facility management and was chosen by GSK to implement the application in 17 GSK sites and is currently contracted to deliver a further 21 sites. Smart Working is a fundamental philosophy of GSK. GSK, a leading global healthcare company, had an idea that mapping could help them to be more efficient, helping their employees and visitors to find office locations and services and people within each location as well as meeting rooms in all of their global offices. With many thousands of global employees and the equivalent hot desks, spread across over 950 locations, this was a significant project.

Chris Higgins, Business Process Partner for Real Estate & Facilities at GSK made the following statement: "During an innovation drive within GSK's worldwide real estate and facilities team we investigated numerous vendors with internal mapping capabilities, it soon became evident that Connect IB were at the forefront of this technology and a clear choice for us. They have a very skilled technical development team and experienced creative group who really took the time to understand our requirements and ensure the final solution met our needs. Key for us was that the app looked 'different' and reflected the exciting, dynamic brand that is GSK. CIB's creative team went beyond our expectations with the design that was finally chosen while the technical group applied the functionality required to make the app a success. Our users have found the app extremely useful and are very happy with the product".

Right now the GSK App for i-Phone and i-Pad provides highly detailed mapping and routing features to allow any GSK employee to search for, identify and navigate to a huge range of meeting rooms, desks, printers and many other points of interest.

The application interface is highly engaging and GSK employees are instantly seeing the benefits in their daily work, whether it's locating a colleague, a meeting room or a BBQ hang out.

User access is controlled by real time integration with GSK's single sign on network authentication systems. This App is helping colleagues to connect not just in one office location, but anywhere in the World. Building and room configurations are seamlessly updated from the IBM Asset Management direct into our mapping environment, ensuring nobody takes a wrong turn.

And the story doesn't end there. Connect IB is working closely with GSK to develop their thinking and identify opportunities for maximizing this idea.

The cooperation with GSK reflects again the transformation of the Group over the last 5 months as well as the name change from Tangibal to Universal and heralds a new start for the Group.

The management team have delivered this successful business transformation during the last 12 months and reporting a successful Q1 yesterday with an increase in revenue and shifting the company into profit for the first time since the merger. The Group Commercial Director Dominic Berger will be presenting the business at the 5.SCF Small Cap Forum/Frühjahrskonferenz on Tuesday 6th May at 12.45 in Frankfurt, DVFA Center.
